“Ethics in Graphic Design” is a forum for the exploration of ethical issues in graphic design. It is intended to be used as a resource and to create an open dialogue among graphic designers about these critical issues.

Ethics: A Graphic Designer’s Field Guide, was created to serve as a handbook and reference for these topics. More information is posted on the guide page.

Both the blog and handbook were created by Eileen MacAvery Kane as part of her MFA thesis in graphic design at Savannah College of Art and Design. The thesis is entitled “Ethics in Graphic Design: A Call to Arms for an Undergraduate Course.” Please contact her directly if you would like a copy.

PLEASE NOTE: this site is not intended to be used as a sole reference but rather a starting point for further discussion and reflection.
